Refund Policy

At A+ Video Editing & Photography, our goal is to provide exceptional creative services and digital products that meet and exceed your expectations. Because we offer customized, time-sensitive services, this Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds may be issued across all areas of our work — including photography, video editing, graphic design, and digital downloads.
1. Refund Request Timeframe

Requests for refunds must be submitted within 5 business days of service delivery.

Requests made after 5 business days will not be eligible for refund consideration.
2. Photography Services
Refunds for photography sessions are limited and handled with care:

Non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking and will not be refunded under any circumstances.

If A+ cancels your session and cannot reschedule, a full refund will be issued.

If the session is canceled by the client and not rescheduled, the retainer is forfeited.

A partial refund may be considered if technical issues prevent delivery of final images or the photographer fails to deliver based on the written agreement.

Refunds will not be issued due to personal preference (e.g., posing, editing style, wardrobe issues, or late arrivals).
3. Video Editing Services

Due to the time-intensive nature of editing, refunds are not issued once work has begun unless:

A significant portion of the project was not completed.

There were clear technical errors that cannot be corrected.

If issues arise, you will be offered 1 round of corrections or partial credit for future services before refund is considered.

Final deliverables will be provided in HD formats. RAW files are not included.
4. Graphic Design Services

Refunds are not issued once the design process begins and a draft has been sent.

Most design services include up to 1 FREE revision.

Additional revisions will be billed at $25/hour or a flat fee, depending on the project type.

Spelling/grammar errors made by the designer will be fixed at no cost and do not count toward your revision limit.

If a project is incomplete due to our error and cannot be resolved, a partial refund or credit may be issued.
5. Digital Products & Templates

All digital product sales are final.

No refunds will be issued for:

Instant downloads
-
Template purchases
-
Files delivered via Etsy
-
If you have purchased the wrong item or encountered a technical issue, please get in touch with us within 3 business days, and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue. Refunds are not guaranteed.
6. File Storage & Archiving

Final project files are stored for up to 60 days after delivery.

After 60 days, your files may be permanently deleted unless otherwise agreed.

Retrieval of archived files after 60 days may incur a $25+ recovery fee, if retrievable.
7. Resolution Before Refund
We always aim to resolve concerns before issuing refunds. Depending on the service, we may offer:

Corrections or re-edits

Free revisions (design and/or photography services only)
-
Partial credits for future work
Refunds will be considered only after all resolution options have been exhausted.
8. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:

Missed appointments or late arrivals

Change of mind after work has begun
-
Failure to communicate preferences or direction

Lost files after 60-day storage window
-
Customer dissatisfaction without clear service failure

Digital downloads (templates, guides, presets, etc.)
9. How to Request a Refund

We will review and respond to your request within one to five business days.
10. Legal Compliance
This policy complies with general U.S. consumer protection guidelines and reflects responsible small-business practices in Alabama and beyond. We reserve the right to revise this policy at any time.
